As a flashlight-holic, here is what I think of the MH12s;
A very balanced light. Semi-tactical with tail and side switches. Mid sized hot spot. Gradual transition into spills. Spills is wide with mid density. Suitable for short to mid range illumination.
The thermal regulated driver is excellent. Step down begins immediately after activation. It is gradual and transit over 10 minutes period. There is no cliff-dive affect. Cooler temperature will enhance output lumens after step-down.

Nitecore MH12s is compatible with both flat and button top 21700. 21700 with at least 8A of continuous discharge must be used to utilise its full performance. MH12s is also compatible with 1x 18650 (>8A) and 2x CR123 batteries. However, 21700 is highly recommended. Unsure what this means? Just ask.
I have to say the guys or girls at batteries Guys Play this whole thing pretty easy!
But the torch is actually amazing so damn bright and the strobe is a handy feature I hope to never have to use!
